Title Transcriptome analysis of Styrax tonkinensis under flood-drought abrupt alternation
Relevance Environmental
Data types Transcriptome or Gene expression
Organisms Styrax tonkinensis
Description According to the current situation, we treated biennial S. tonkinensis seedlings with flood-drought abrupt alternation (FDAA) to witness the morphological, physiological and molecular responses of this species to FDAA. We explored the changes in reactive oxygen species (ROS), antioxidant system enzymes and related gene expression in S. tonkinensis seedlings under FDAA. Here, we also set control group (CK) and drought treatment (DT) to better discover the influence of FDAA by comparing each treatment. The primary purpose of the study was to provide theoretical basis for the massive cultivation of S. tonkinensis in Yangtze River basin in the future.
