The aim of this project is to identify the causal genes of a major QTL (qSPI4) that regulate the timing of bud flush (TBF) in the spring of tea plants. Bulked Segregant RNA-Seq (BSR-Seq) was performed with the early and late TBF bulked samples from the EW x CM F1 population (n=217).
