In this study, the brain, liver and muscle transcriptomes of channel catfish with differential growth rate were analyzed using RNA-Seq. Totally, many differentially expressed genes (DEGs) between fast-growing and slow-growing groups were found in brain, liver and muscle tissues, respectively. These DEGs are mainly involved in growth, development, metabolism and immunity, which are related to the growth regulation of channel catfish.
