| 描述信息 | Ethane, the second most abundant hydrocarbon gas in vast anoxic environments, could be effectively oxidized with sulfate as electron acceptor. Although nitrate is a more thermodynamically feasible electron acceptor for anaerobic ethane oxidation than sulfate, little is known about the mechanism of nitrate-driven anaerobic ethane oxidation. Here, denitrifying anaerobic ethane oxidation culture was enriched through long-term operation of bioreacotr fed with nitrate and ethane. | ||||||||
