Description |
Primary root development is critical for the yield and adaption to stresses in plants. We isolated a Arabidopsis shorter root mutant (gend2-1) and then cloned GEND2. However, its molecular mechanism is unclear. Through our study, we reveal a new pathway of GEND2-mediated mitochondrial mRNA editing in regulation of primary root development in plants. |
