Title Cellular landscapes of osteogenically differentiated valvular interstitial cells stimulated with XCT790-loaded nanoparticles
Relevance Medical
Data types Transcriptome or Gene expression
Organisms Homo sapiens
Description The pathogenesis of calcific aortic valve disease (CAVD) is unknown. XCT790 is a specific inhibitor of estrogen-related receptor α (ERR-α) that inhibits valve calcification in mouse model. Here, we designed a nanocarrier targeting osteoblastic differentiated valve interstitial cells (VICs) for targeted delivery of XCT790 to the calcified site. We stimulated osteogenically differentiated VICs with this targeted nanoparticle, and performed RNA-seq to evaluate the transcriptional alterations of VICs and explore specific mechanisms.
