We collected wheat grain samples from harvest and storage stage encompassing the major producing areas of China to investigate the temporal and spatial distribution of fungal communities in wheat grains from harvest to storage. We have clarified regional differences in the fungal community composition of wheat and the patterns of fungal community succession from harvest to storage periods and investigated the relationship between environmental factors, fungal communities, and mycotoxin contamination. |
