The venom glands and carcass of Trichopria drosophilae were dissected in cold PBS buffer and then washed three times. The total RNA was isolated using the TRIzol-based method. Three RNA-seq libraries for venom glands and carcasses were prepared separately and then sequenced on the Illumina HiSeq X Ten platform.
