描述信息 A temporal series of RNA-seq and H3K4me3/H3K27ac histone modification CUT&Tag-seq was employed to profile the gene expression and chromatinic state dynamics associated with the progress of mouse embryonic tail morphogenesis. Based on temporal (and spatial) disparity analyses, the candidate genes and cis-regulatory elements involved in tail development could be revealed, supplying fundamental and exploitable datasets for the researches to elucidate the complex genetic mechanisms responsible for the formation, and evolutionary developmental divergence, of the vertebrate/mammalian tail. Given the period (E10.5 ~ E15.5) of the embryonic tail morphogenesis in C57BL/6J mice, six consecutive stages (E10.5, E11.5, E12.5, E13.5, E14.5 and E15.5) were designed to sample the two positions of tail tip tissues, termed T1 (terminal, 1 mm, containing the tail bud area) and T2 (proximally contiguous, 1 mm, as a control) respectively, for RNA-seq. T1 region was sampled at three stages (E10.5, E12.5 and E14.5) for the CUT&Tag-seq of H3K4me3 and H3K27ac histone modifications. Three biological replicates were prepared for all samplings.
