Title The changes of local microenvironment and the key targets of adenoma canceration during the natural occurrence of colorectal adenocarcinoma were investigated by single cell sequencing technology
Relevance Medical
Data types Transcriptome or Gene expression
Organisms Homo sapiens
Description In this study, tissue samples from a rare patient with both intestinal adenoma and adenocarcinoma were analyzed using a combination of single-cell sequencing and spatial transcriptome sequencing. In the tested cells, we identified different tumor-associated fibroblast cell phenotypes, T cell phenotypes and immune components. This study demonstrates the tumor immune microenvironment during the progression of intestinal adenomas to adenocarcinoma. The study provided valuable insights for potential therapeutic interventions targeting the tumor microenvironment.
