描述信息 This study presents a high-quality chromosome-scale genome assembly of the snow leopard, complemented by genome resequencing data spanning the majority of its extant geographic distribution. Through conservation genomics analyses, we investigate the species' population structure, evolutionary history, and genetic mechanisms of high-altitude adaptation. Additionally, we assess evolutionary potential by examining genomic diversity, inbreeding patterns, and genetic load using comparative genomic approaches.
