Description This project systematically presents multi-omics data in the process of carboxymethylcellulose (CMC) aggravating acute pancreatitis in mice. We observed that CMC exposure could aggravate acute pancreatitis and change the gut microbiota of mice compared with control mice. Fecal microbiota transplantation from mice exposed to CMC also aggravated acute pancreatitis in recipient mice, suggesting that the aggravation of acute pancreatitis induced by CMC is mediated by gut microbiota. To further investigate the mechanism of acute pancreatitis aggravated by CMC, single cell sequencing was performed on PBMCs of mice received FMT from mice exposed to CMC. In addition, we performed 16s rRNA sequencing on gut microbiota of patients with acute pancreatitis to verify the results of gut microbiota changes in animal experiments. The results of 16s rRNA sequencing in mice, PBMCs single cell sequencing, and 16s rRNA sequencing in patients with acute pancreatitis were all presented in this project.
