Description |
Vibrio parahaemolyticus is the most common cause of seafood-borne gastroenteritis worldwide. This study presented a comprehensive investigation into the prevalence and genomic characteristics of imported Vibrio parahaemolyticus strains in travelers arriving at Shanghai Port, China, spanning the period from 2017 to 2019. By combining epidemiological analysis with whole genome sequencing, we aimed to shed light on the transmission dynamics and genetic diversity of this pathogen. |
