Rice blast disease is a major threaten to rice (Oryza sativa) production worldwide, which is caused by the fungus Magnaporthe oryzae. We collected RNA samples from four different stages of M. oryzae life cycle, viz mycelium, conidiophore, appressorium, and invasive hypha. We aimed to explore the differential expression of genes at specific times, providing a foundation for understanding the pathogenic mechanism and developing strategies for disease control. |
