Description Consortium of Anthropological Research in Southeast Asia and Southwest China (CASEAC) aims to promote multi-disciplinary studies of human populations in Southeast Asia and Southwest China because these two regions share many ethnic populations without language barriers. Here we present the SEA3K genome dataset (Phase I) of CASEAC, consisting of deep whole-genome sequencing (WGS) data of 3,023 individuals from 30 populations across MSEA, together with the long-read WGS data of 40 representative MSEA individuals.
