Endophytic Serratia marcescens has been found and isolated in several plants, and it is effective in the management of various plant pathogens and promoting the growth of different crops. Serralysin is a virulence factor of Serratia marcescens that causes bacteremia in insect hemolymph, resulting in rapid death. |
