| 描述信息 |
After human bodies become accustomed to the hypoxic conditions of high altitudes and then return to the plain, there is a compensatory adjustment process called "de-adaptation" where the body gradually reverses the physiological changes made to adapt to the hypoxic environment. This process often accompanies varying degrees of discomfort and alterations in physiological markers, significantly affecting the health of individuals who frequently traverse between high and low altitudes. This study focuses on examining the multi-omics profile (metabolomics, proteomics, etc.) and physiological function changes among highland residents, particularly those with high altitude polycythemia, at different stages of the de-adaptation process. By analyzing the correlation between red blood cell (RBC) metabolic reprogramming, oxygen transport function, and the development of de-adaptation syndromes, we aim to clarify the patterns of RBC metabolic reprogramming during de-adaptation and identify potential therapeutic targets for these syndromes. |
