The plant-associated microbiomes exhibit a protective effect against multiple stresses. Beneficial microbes are enriched and function as an additional layer of immunity against pathogen infection. Using amplicon sequencing, a significant alternation of phyllosphere microbiome composition in rice panicle in response to the infection of Magnaporth oryzae pv. oryzae and Ustilaginoidea virens. |
