Title Biological effects of extracellular vesicles of Lactobacillus crispatus FY121 on HPV
Relevance Medical
Data types Transcriptome or Gene expression
Organisms Homo sapiens
Description Our study focused on extracellular vesicles of Lactobacillus crispatus FY121 (LcEVs), a common probiotic in the female vagina. These vesicles were found to reduce the expression of the human papillomavirus E6 and E7 genes and suppress the malignant phenotype of cervical cancer cells. In addition, to further investigate the mechanism, we used transcriptomic and proteomic analyses to explore the mechanism of action of LcEVs.
