Description We performed transcriptome sequencing of BmN cells treated with 1 µg/mL rotenone to explore the toxicological mechanism of rotenone. The results indicated that rotenone reduced the mitochondrial membrane potential, leading to mitophagy. The PTEN induced putative kinase 1 (PINK1)/Parkin pathway may be involved in rotenone-induced mitophagy.
