Enhancing crop tolerance to salt stress is an important way to fully utilize saline soil and improve food production. As the second genome of plants, the rhizosphere microbiome plays an important role in crop growth, health, and environmental stress tolerance. Fully utilizing its functions can help enhance crop salt tolerance and promote green agricultural development. However, the assembly mechanism and regulation technology of rhizosphere microbiota under salt stress conditions are still in the exploratory stage, with weak theoretical foundation and immature technical system. This project is based on the significant inhibition of growth of salt tolerant rice varieties in sterile soil. From the perspective of plant microbial interaction, combined with the root exudates and rhizosphere microbiome of salt tolerant rice varieties and salt sensitive rice varieties under salt stress, the study aims to reveal the assembly mechanism of rhizosphere microbiome driven by root exudates. |
