The incidence and mortality rates of cholangiocarcinoma have been on the rise, presenting challenges such as low detection rates, high mortality, and poor prognosis. There is a significantneed for in-depth research to improve clinical diagnosis and treatment. In our study, we explored a new mechanism of cholangiocarcinoma progression from the perspective of novel succinylation modifications. Our results indicate that succinylation of PDHA1 K83 alters PDH enzyme activity, leading to metabolic reprogramming of the TCA cycle. Thus, it is immportant to explore the mechanism of PDHA1 K83 succinylation. |
