this project is to investigate the epigenetic modifications in the dorsal root ganglia (DRG) of mice subjected to Spinal Nerve Ligation (SNL) compared to Sham-operated controls. Specifically, the study focuses on the histone modifications H3K18la and H4K12la, which are associated with chromatin structure and gene regulation. By performing Chromatin Immunoprecipitation sequencing (ChIP-seq) on DRG tissues 10 days post-surgery, we aim to identify changes in histone modifications that may underlie the molecular mechanisms of neuropathic pain. |
