We have identified a plant-unique DNA-binding protein with B3 domains in the model flowering plant Arabidopsis thaliana and other plants. This protein binds the borders of chromatin domains in the Arabidopsis genome. We further explored the underlying mechanisms for the 3D genome organization in Arabidopsis by multiple genomic approaches including genome sequencing, ChIP-seq, Hi-C, ATAC-seq, and RNA-seq. |
