Coral reefs are famous for their high primary productivity. However, in recent years, due to environmental pollution, coral reefs have gradually degraded, mainly in two aspects, one is the decrease of living coral coverage, and the other is the increase of macroalgae coverage in coral reef areas. In this case, Porites cylindrica show relatively strong environmental adaptability. In view of this, this study conducted a 21-day indoor simulation experiment to explore the effects of direct contact of Hypnea pannosa on Porites cylindrica from the perspective of physiology and metabolomics. |
