Organisms |
Nilaparvata lugens
|
Description |
Brown planthoppers (Nilaparvata lugens) display a distinct post mating response and that seminal fluid proteins play an important role in this response. Transcriptome and proteome analysis were performed to identify the seminal fluid proteins of brown planthopper, and then to find the key factor causing the post mating response. This key factor can be used as a candidate target for brown planthopper control in the field. |
