Description |
Hepatocellular carcinoma represents one of the most significant global health burdens in terms of morbidity and mortality. In recent years, there has been a growing body of evidence indicating that combination therapy has emerged as a promising strategic approach for the treatment of advanced hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC). In light of these findings, we put forth a potential therapeutic combination for HCC: cryptotanshinone in conjunction with arsenic trioxide, designated as ACCS. The metabolic landscape within the tumor microenvironment (TME) is intricate, with tumor cells exhibiting distinctive metabolic phenotypes to sustain the energy demands of their rapid proliferation. Energy metabolomics was employed to investigate the impact of ACCS intervention on metabolite alterations in normoxic and hypoxic environments. |
