Hepatocellular carcinoma represents one of the most significant global health burdens in terms of morbidity and mortality. In recent years, mounting evidence has indicated that combination therapy has emerged as a promising strategic approach for the treatment of advanced hepatocellular carcinoma. Based on this evidence, we propose a potential therapeutic combination for hepatocellular carcinoma, namely cryptotanshinone in combination with arsenic trioxide, which we have designated as ACCS. To elucidate the intrinsic mechanism by which ACCS exerts its anti-hepatocellular carcinoma effects, we performed transcriptome sequencing of Hepa1-6 cells after ACCS intervention in normoxic and hypoxic environments. This approach allowed us to identify the pathways and key targets associated with the observed effects. |
