| 描述信息 | Colorectal cancer patients frequently suffer from acute chemoradiotherapy-induced intestinal injury (ACRIII), significantly impacting their quality of life and treatment efficacy. This study explores the role of the gut microbiome, with a focus on Lactobacillus, in mitigating ACRIII. We cultured and characterized ten novel Lactobacillus strains from fecal samples of exceptional rectal cancer patients exhibiting complete remission and no ACRIII during chemoradiotherapy. Among these, Lacticaseibacillus rhamnosus DY801, through the metB gene, efficiently produces methionine, which modulates host gut Lti cell methionine metabolism, without compromising chemoradiotherapy efficacy. Methionine increases H3K4me3 in Lti cells, suppressing IL-17A and IL-22 secretion and alleviating ACRIII. | ||||||||||||||||
