Peripheral blood mononuclear cells (PBMCs) encompass a variety of immune cell types, which, along with their associated molecular signatures, can serve as potential biomarkers for oncological diseases. Nonetheless, current literature has not thoroughly characterized the heterogeneous nature of peripheral blood immune cell populations in the context of lung cancer. Our investigation aims to delineate the distinct compositional profiles and transcriptomic variations between advanced lung cancer (A1, A2, A3) and normal human (A4) peripheral blood immune cells at a single-cell resolution, utilizing advanced single-cell transcriptome sequencing techniques. Furthermore, this study seeks to uncover the unique regulatory mechanisms governing gene expression in lung cancer, ultimately contributing to the identification of novel biomarkers for its diagnosis. |
