Neointimal hyperplasia (NIH) are the major causes of re-stenosis in coronary intervention and the interventional strategies for it remains unclear. MVP is the predominant component of cellular vaults and participates in diverse biological processes including multidrug resistance, nuclear pore assembly, signal transduction, and immune response. However, the exact role of endothelial MVP in neointimal hyperplasia remains unclear. This study was aimed at gaining new insights into the heterogeneity of vascular cells in neointimal hyperplasia caused by endothelial MVP deficiency using single-cell RNA sequencing. |
