After infecting the larvae of theThitarodes xiaojinensis with Ophiocordyceps sinensis, it can coexist with the host for more than six months, during which the interaction between the host and the pathogen reaches a highly dynamic balance. Therefore, in this study, sublethal doses of imidacloprid were used to treat infected T. xiaojinensis, disrupting the immune balance between the host and the pathogen. Transcriptome data was used to detect how the pathogen responds to host immune fluctuations
