We are reporting a rare case of an invasive GA in a diabet patient following endoscopic submucosal dissection operation on the stomach, which occurred due to home cleaning. The infection progressed to systemic involvement. Despite surgical intervention and anti-infective treatment, the patient ultimately succumbed to the infection. The outcome in this case is bad and illustrates why early recognition and intervention is crucial for the prognosis. |
