| 描述信息 | A combination of three sequencing technologies including long-read sequencing (PacBio Sequel), optical mapping (Bionano Saphyr), and chromosome conformation capture technique based on proximity ligation (Hi-C) was applied to construct the chromosome-level genome assembly of the migratory locust (Locusta migratoria). Moreover, short-read DNA-seq (Illumina Data) both from female and male locusts was used to correct assembly errors. To predict protein-coding genes, we further generated short-read RNA-seq and PacBio ISO-seq cDNA data obtained from 11 different tissues and organs of the migrator locust. To track the chromosome dynamics of X chromosome within Orthoptera, we also generated a chromosome-level genome of the desert locust (Schistocerca gregaria) using Nanopore long-read sequencing and Illumina data with Hi-C scaffolding. | ||||||||
