This study decodes dynamic molecular remodeling of the maternal olfactory system. As a central regulator of survival behaviors, the olfactory bulb undergoes multidimensional plasticity with temporal dynamics during pregnancy. Using bulk RNA-seq across five physiological timepoints, we establish a temporal transcriptomic atlas to capture maternal brain plasticity progression and elucidate sequential activation of gene networks underlying olfactory adaptation to motherhood. |
