This project aims to investigate metabolic and transcriptomic alterations associated with latent tuberculosis infection (LTBI) in humans. A total of 166 participants, including 81 LTBI individuals and 85 healthy controls, were recruited. Untargeted plasma metabolomics profiling was performed using LC-MS/MS in both positive and negative ion modes. Integrated multi-omics analysis was conducted to identify differential metabolites, explore dysregulated metabolic pathways, and discover potential diagnostic biomarkers for LTBI. The project provides raw mass spectrometry data, processed feature tables, and associated metadata to support reproducibility and secondary analyses. The findings contribute to understanding host metabolic reprogramming during latent Mycobacterium tuberculosis infection and offer insights into early diagnosis strategies. |
