| 描述信息 | The Kaijiang duck is an indigenous duck breed from Kaijiang County, Dazhou City, Sichuan Province, China. In this project, a female Kaijiang duck was selected for whole-genome sequencing, assembly, and annotation. A high-quality chromosome-level, gap-free genome assembly was generated using multiple sequencing technologies, including long-read sequencing, short-read sequencing, and Hi-C data. The final assembly contains 39 autosomes, the Z chromosome, the W chromosome, and one candidate unclassified chromosome. Gene annotation was performed by integrating transcriptomic evidence, ab initio prediction, and non-coding RNA annotation. This genome resource will support studies of duck genome evolution, sex chromosome biology, comparative genomics, and molecular breeding. | ||||||||
