This project performs chromosome-level genome assembly of the elite soybean cultivar Qinong 5 (QN5), a disease-resistant, high-oil, high-yield variety from Northeast China. Using PacBio HiFi and Hi-C technologies, we decode its genomic basis, identify key resistance genes and structural variations, and clarify its breeding genetic contribution. The high-quality genome provide critical resources for soybean molecular design breeding. |
