By integrating long-read sequencing and Hi-C mapping, we generated a high-continuity assembly that achieves nearly complete chromosomal coverage. This resource is pivotal for the genomic-assisted improvement of the Kaijiang duck, enabling precise mapping of traits related to growth, disease resistance, and environmental adaptation in the Dazhou region. |
