描述信息 This study aimed to investigate whether long-term endurance exercise-induced changes in the mouse intestinal microbiota can be partially transferred to recipient mice via fecal microbiota transplantation (FMT), and to explore the relationship between specific gut microbiota and exercise capacity. Male C57BL/6 mice were divided into a control group, an exercise group, a PBS transplantation group, and an FMT group. The exercise group received 14 weeks of moderate-intensity treadmill training. Fecal samples were collected at pre-intestinal clearance, post-intestinal clearance, and post-FMT stages. The V4 hypervariable region of the 16S rRNA gene was amplified and sequenced on an Illumina MiSeq platform to analyze the composition, diversity, and functional pathways of the gut microbiota. This project provides evidence for the role of gut microbiota as a partial mediator in improving exercise capacity induced by long-term endurance exercise.
