Description The flower thrips, Frankliniella intonsa (Trybom) (Thysanoptera: Thripidae), is a serious pest of crops, not only feeding on leaves, flowers and fruits, but also spreading a variety of plant viruses. This thrips is a polyphagous species throughout Europe, Asia, Oceania, and North America, and is widely distributed in China. Here we collected samples from pepper (Capsicum annuum L.) at Jiaxing, Zhejiang Province, China.
