Our experiment comprises a comprehensive set of 30 lettuce samples, systematically divided into ten groups (PL2, PL4, PL6, PL8, PL10 for leaf samples at varying growth stages, and PR2, PR4, PR6, PR8, PR10 for root samples). Each group contains three biological replicates to bolster the reliability and reproducibility of our results. The naming convention adopted, such as PL2_1 and PR4_14, elegantly encapsulates the sample's characteristics: P for purple crown lettuce, L or R for leaf or root, the number following indicating the growth period in weeks, and the final numeral preceded by an underscore designating the replicate number |
