CROST

CROST (https://ngdc.cncb.ac.cn/crost) is a comprehensive repository of spatial transcriptomics data. In its current release, CROST has integrated 1033 spatial transcriptome samples from 8 species, utilizing 5 technology platforms, including two sequencing-based technologies (10X Visium and Slide-seq v2) and three imaging-based technologies (MERFIAH, 10X Xenium, and NanoString COX). CROST provides a wealth of downstream analyses for each sample, including spatially variable genes, cell type annotation, cell communication analysis, KEGG and GO enrichment analysis, and single-sample enrichment analysis. Moreover, CROST conducts in-depth exploration of the spatially variable genes associated with various cancer types, integrating data from classic transcriptome, epigenome, and whole-genome analyses to perform multi-omics gene studies. Additionally, CROST is equipped with two essential biological analysis tools, ssGSVA and SpatialAP (Spatial Analysis Pipeline), offering a comprehensive analysis platform for researchers engaged in spatial transcriptomics research.
