PRJNA803932: Unique transcriptome and gene expression analysis of rice seedling reveals different cadmium response regulatory mechanisms between Indica and Japonica rice
概要: Purpose: The goal of this study is to compare the different genetic mechanisms between Indica and Japonica rice under cadmium stress.
项目整体设计: RNA-seq of two rice varieties with different sensitivity to cadmium. CH891 (Indica) is relatively more sensitive to cadmium stress than is 02428 (Japonica).
Thirty germinative seeds were placed in each dish, and the treatment groups (Cd) were treated with 200mg/L CdCl2 while the control groups (CK) with distilled water. Seedlings were maintained in the incubator at 28℃/25℃ for 16/8 h light/dark condition.

After three days of cultivation, the seedlings of two rice varieties treated with cadmium and control were sampled respectively.

RNA was isolated using Trizol reagent Kit.

RNA libraries were prepared for sequencing using Illumina Hiseq4000 protocols.
