概要: Purpose: The goal of this study is to compare the different genetic mechanisms between Indica and Japonica rice under cadmium stress.

项目整体设计: RNA-seq of two rice varieties with different sensitivity to cadmium. CH891 (Indica) is relatively more sensitive to cadmium stress than is 02428 (Japonica).

生长方案: Thirty germinative seeds were placed in each dish, and the treatment groups (Cd) were treated with 200mg/L CdCl2 while the control groups (CK) with distilled water. Seedlings were maintained in the incubator at 28℃/25℃ for 16/8 h light/dark condition.
处理方案: After three days of cultivation, the seedlings of two rice varieties treated with cadmium and control were sampled respectively.
提取方案: RNA was isolated using Trizol reagent Kit.
建库方案: RNA libraries were prepared for sequencing using Illumina Hiseq4000 protocols.
