The non-coding and coding transcriptional landscape of the peripheral immune response in patients with COVID-19
Release date:
2020-09-10
Description:
We collected peripheral blood samples of 6 severe COVID-19 patients, 6 moderate COVID-19 patients and 4 healthy controls and performed multi-transcriptome sequencing of ncRNAs and mRNAs. Several miRNAs were identified to characterize possible biomarkers and therapeutic targets through co-analysis of downstream mRNAs and upstream lncRNAs. We depicted the mRNA transcriptome alteration in moderate and severe COVID-19 patients, and found evidences for heightened inflammation effect, hyperactivation of immune response and functional reduction of T cells in severe group.
