Title:
The study of novel genetic variants in longevity population, China
Release date:
2021-12-31
Description:
Since the existence of written records, humanity has striven for longevity and has celebrated long-lived individuals. Longevity research has experienced an unprecedented advance in recent years, particularly with the discovery of longevity genes, which are, at least to some extent, involved in evolutionarily conserved homeostatic, cognitive function-related and biochemical processes. A number of genetic factors associated with longevity have been identified; however, the intricate interplay between these molecules has not been recognized.
