Title:
Single-cell sequencing of pediatric hepatoblastoma
Release date:
2025-09-02
Description:
Hepatoblastoma is the predominant type of liver cancer in young children and present a diversity of histologic subtypes. At present, the incidence of hepatoblastoma has been increasing while prognosis still remaining poor. Therefore, it is significant to acquire further understanding of its progression molecular mechanism. We applied single-cell transcriptome sequencing on hepatoblastoma samples, profiled the transcriptomes of 370,000 single cells from 32 patients with hepatoblastoma. Interaction of tumor and paratumor cells, as well as cell proportion change before and after chemotherapy were analyzed to explore its relationship between early clinical diagnosis and prognosis, and therefore provides a new vision and breakthrough point for the early diagnosis, intervention strategy and prevention mode of disease.
