Title:
The role of the nasopharyngeal and oral microbiota in nasopharyngeal carcinoma
Release date:
2025-06-27
Description:
There is growing evidence that the human microbiota plays an important role in the development and progression of tumors. We performed 16S rRNA gene sequencing on 148 NPC patients and 124 non-malignant controls, comprising 272 pairs of nasopharyngeal-oral samples. We systematically analyzed the nasopharyngeal and oral microbiota profiles associated with nasopharyngeal carcinoma.
