For each controlled access study, there is a corresponding Data Access Committee(DAC) to determine the access permissions. Access to actual data files is not managed by NGDC.
The main field of expertise is pathogen biology, and the main research directions are the medicinal value of active molecules in medical arthropods (spider peptides) and molecular parasitology (Toxoplasma gondii).
