Regulatory mechanism and treatment of colorectal cancer colonization and growth in liver
Release date:

Description:
Metastasis is the main cause of death in colorectal cancer patients, and liver is the primary organ of colorectal cancer metastasis. Due to the lack of systematic understanding of the mechanism of colorectal cancer metastasis, clinical targets against colorectal cancer metastasis are still unavailable. I have been systematically exploring the regulatory mechanism of colorectal cancer prone liver metastasis. Our unpublished data showed that the functionally unknown gene C6orf223 remodeled H4 methylation and promoted liver metastasis of colorectal cancer through the assembly of the histone methyltransferase complex. This project aims to further reveal the mechanism of the axis in regulating liver NETs formation and lipid lipolysis and oxidation of liver cells, as well as its influence on the colonization and growth of colorectal cancer. This study contributes to a systematic understanding of the mechanism of liver metastasis in colorectal cancer and provides new ideas for the treatment of colorectal cancer.
For each controlled access study, there is a corresponding Data Access Committee(DAC) to determine the access permissions. Access to actual data files is not managed by NGDC.
